Ahlan wa sahlan · Bienvenidos · Welcome

Come in. Sit down. Stay late.

Café Palestina brings Palestinian coffee culture to Norwalk: cardamom in the Turkish coffee, condensed milk in the chai, and lattes named for towns across Palestine. We open at 5am for the early shift and stay open until midnight for late study sessions.

The name uses the Spanish spelling on purpose. It is a nod to the Latino neighbors in Norwalk who have shown up for this place since the very first day.

L.A. TACO called it L.A.'s first Palestinian coffee shop.

A room built to feel like home

Keffiyeh print wraps the register, the espresso machine and the base of every table. Images of Palestinian landmarks cover the tabletops. Reclaimed wood lines the walls, with map art and a neon sign that reads Taste of Palestine.

Out front, a path of red, white and green lights leads to the door, under a sign made from old license plates.

Olive leavesThe olive trees and the groves they grow in.
FishnetThe fishermen and the Mediterranean.
Bold linesThe old trade routes that crossed the land.
